Unable to synch Outlook with iTunes since updates on 13 Sep 2016

Apple provided a new iOS and iTunes update on September 13, 2016. Since that time I can no longer synch Outlook with my iPhone 6S Plus using iTunes. In fact, I can no longer see my iPhone while I am inside iTunes looking at devices. I am using Windows 10. Should I just download the previous version of iTunes and try to see if that works? I never had any problems in the past.
